the china trip got canceled. after much consideration my parents decided to go to aussie instead! so there! aussie was just simply awesome lah. i can understand why so many of us keep migrating there. i was very impressed by their service sector. the people there were really kind friendly and hospitable. they've got that nice cool accent of theirs. and the weather there was like omggg i wish singapore was like that. lets just say i didnt even sweat at all when i was there.. well except in the arcade when i was playing time crisis but thats understandable. i really enjoyed myself there and im glad i went. it thought me how to relax again and it was a good break from all that stressful stuff. on top of that, i bought my very 1st pair of havaianas over there for just 25 bucks. and a new when i got back i thought i was gonna die returning back to this crazy place. was behind time in my studies and everything. but, fortunately while we were away, singapore announced a 7 day quarantine for all those returning back from pig flu countries. so there! im exempted from 5 out of 6 of my papers. the only paper i need to take is bio, my favorite subject. so things actually falled into place perfectly and i dont think its coincidental at all. i really thank God for everything thats happened here. Hes great and awesome and nothing can take his place:D guess this has taught me too that things dont always go according to what you plan them to. at the start of this holiday i was actually really troubled by all this going on in my head. sometimes you just gotta rely on God and pray coz not everything is up to us and under our control. went to church yesterday! feel like i havent been there for a while. its great to be back. nat had a high fever and went to the hospital to check for pig flu but resulted negative! though its negative, still hope you get well soon nat!:D i also got sucked up into the youth day skit next week! its kinda interesting and fun to be part of a church skit again. the last time i was involved was at CCIS when i was sec 1! kinda nostalgic in a different kinda way. so well now i got the whole week at home. gotta make sure i ace this bio exam since its the only one im doing. but this time i can take it slow(: Got washed up on the beach @ 2:43 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2009
i mean c'mon dont kid me man. i've got things of my own i need to catch up with during the holidays, personal goals to set and i can safely say that my holiday isnt going to be much more free than my normal school day. the benefits of the school holiday is just that we can afford to wake up later, and lesser time is wasted travelling to school. apart from that its kinda the same coz the time spent on doing all the holiday homework and studying for the major exam sorta is equal to the time spent going to school anyway. currently i've sorta slightly organised my things to do list, my 1st set of stuff goes sth like: 1)prepare for sunday's worship 2)clear the pile of times and broader perspective magazines 3)organise a chennai outing for next week 4)finish all my online chinese assignments 5)and get done all my gp work. hoping to get all of these done and much much more actually.. before the 1st week ends but im not really sure how fast i can do these things. ah wells! better get started then!:O Got washed up on the beach @ 12:20 AM
